hello we have a case ih 885 4wd, with loader cab we bought from dealer, it worked fine for the first 2-3 months, the tractor needed a ring gear it also stared to freewheel down hills, as if the tractor was in nuetral and the engine surges a little going uphill, we split the tractor put in a new clutch, ring gear, flywheel, throwout bearing. the clutch looked real bad and we thought that might have been causing it to freewheel but it is back together and it is still freewheels, it has rabbit turtle, no t/a the hydralics have also given us problems, it loses presure after a while and the round baler opens and the breaks need constant bleeding, its also been a wiring/electronic nightmare as the previous owner added things and cobbled stuff togther( its been sorted out). any ideas as to why the tractor is freewheeling? the hydralic filters were really nasty when we changed them maybe take hydro pump out and see if anything in there is clogged, we were also told it could just be a bad relay wich we'll check into first, any ideas?
