Now if you had a pinned connection at both ends from the bars that connect your cultipacker axle to a boom pole, down near your drag links and secured from the axle ends to the top of the boom pole with 2 chains you'd have all the degrees of freedom that you need for the implement to move any old which way and still be able to lift it off the ground for transport - provided your 3pt has the lift capacity.

If I use a chain for top link wont the top of the cultipacker arm fall into the back of the tractor. most likely 3 pt would be for towing and re locating, atv will probably pull it

I've never been there but from what I've seen online their pricing is higher than some but lower than others.

I think if you are going to lift it off the ground I would add a center bearing to provide better support, Could not link to your bearing post though.

I am in the middle of the same type of project. I have old cultipacker that the frame was all bent. I plan on buying from Omni-manu or making a new frame. Someone mentioned there should be some play between the shaft and wheel. I measured the diameter of the wheel holes and they are
1 15/16" and the shaft diameter is about 1 11/16". Is this too much play or just right? With some shaft collars, will this tighten things up nice?
