I liked the way you ran the strap to the cat to hold the part in in an upright position so it didn't fall over. LOL zman :laughing::thumbsup:

Here are few shots my lovely wife Linda took this morning. First run with the new to me machine and let me tell you, this old Simplicity is superior in every way to the much newer Craftsman I had been using. The motor started first pull (no joke) and after a few minor carb adjustments, ran as it should. Thanks again to all for their help, Rick

Glad to hear you're happy with the rig. It's sad how the quality has dropped so much in the last 15 years or so on snowblowers. Many are made out of really thin metal now.
