Do you think my b3200 would have enough power to run a woods 90" rear finish mower, (pull, not lift) Thanks

For the 23 horse power its a long stretch,
and unless you are crawling not much of
an option powerwise in my opinion.

For the money involved you would be better
off buying a pair of towed motorised
"Acre Ease" lawn mowers assuming you intend
on using the belly mower you have-

You will be able to mow wide using the three mowers with trailed hitches
and drop one "Acre Ease" mower; use the two mowers then drop
the other "Acre Ease" and finish mowing with the belly
mower of the B3200 if you want that much width.

I would rather see you buy a six foot finish rotor flail mower from Ken Sweet
one of our fine sponsors in good standing here on the forum.

My father used a John Deere 7 foot finish rotor flail mower on a Ford Jubilee using three rows of grass slicer knives

I used a Landpride 72" RFM on my B7800 and the B3200 and it done fine operating and lifting. Check the difference in weight between woods 90 and Landpride 72. I believe it will do it.

I can't say how well your B3200 will work with a 90" RFM, but I will suggest you determine where you'll leave this big mower before you spend the money.
My RFM is a 7' Befco (actually 86" wide) and it is wide!!! When I back into my garage, there's maybe an inch (or less) clearance on either side...tight fit. It won't fit my outbuilding so I've got to leave it outside (under a trap) for the winter.
I wouldn't buy a mower this size...it came with the tractor I bought earlier this year (2010).

So, make sure you have a place to leave that big mower!

I thought it might be pushing it a bit, I now have about 12 acres to mow, i didn't know that when I bought the b3200, some I will brush hog 1 or 2 times a year, some I will finish mow weekly. Wishlist would be something like a L 5240 with a 12 ft. batwing, but I'm building a log home on this land and need to finish the house first before other wishes come true.

Go for it. My B3030 handles a 60" MMM like it isn't even there. Another 30" will hardly make a difference.

Nice looking land and home you have. How much different does it look since Oct. of '09? Good luck.

Photos are from october of 2010, so not much different just a lot more snow.

I have the woods 990 and pulled it with a L3130 before I got my L4240. The L4240 had to go in for some warranty work and I hooked the woods up to my B7800 just to see if it could handle it. Well it done good on flat land, the temp did run up a little. I did not try it on the hills because I new it would pull it sideways. The 990 is real heavy and when its a little wet it has moved the 3130 side ways some. The 990 is a great mower and for as big it is, it doesn't take a lot of HP to turn it, but pulling up a hill I think it would pull the tractor down way to much and side ways it would be unsafe.

I have had three RM-990's (still have 2) and I can say 23 hp isn't power enough to do a good job. I had one on a L345DT years back and if the crop was dense, or wet or the ground was sloped, the tractor was over-matched by the mower. I liked the 990 enough that I got a bigger tractor. The 990 is a great mower but it needs at least 34 pto horsepower. You can get by with less, but it will often feel under powered. If you are planning on a bigger tractor within a year or two then you could live with it for a while - but it will give you an itch. My 2 cents Take care, Dick B (97 1/2 ton Z71 chev, 01 vette 6-spd)
