I know I'm dreaming here, spring ahead with the clocks this weekend and snow Sunday..
Our local paper is showing 151" of snow so far for Gaylord. The Weather Station 12 miles south of Gaylord is showing 117" . They do not get the lake effect snow bands we get. They should not report Gaylord snowfall from their location with all the lake effect snow they do not get. They should say Waters, Michigan . It's confusing to people the two different snow totals every winter, lol
Anyway I am making progress on my Cab/ Windbreak for my little JD x-758 Tractor. I used it yesterday and even without the doors finished it kept a lot of wind off me. I should get the doors done this week. I am looking into cab heaters now.View attachment 596294

Spring is here! Since the motor bikes are coming out. We have college kids who reside next door. Michigan Tech if anyone wonders.
I see the steel roofs are shedding. We left for Louisiana, Texas, and now Tucson about ten days ago. When we left, I must have seen close to ten or twelve collapsed barns and garages in the UP and Northern Wisconsin.
My 32’x54’ garage hadn’t shed and my 48x75 shop only partially shed (unbalanced snow load) when we left town, so I have been watching the weather with interest.
Hope I can get the tractor with front blower out of the garage with eave side doors.
Dumbest thing I did was put the doors on the eave side of a building with a metal roof in a high snowfall climate.
