Mowing 930B 60"-Mower problems

I recently bought a 60" 930B rear mower that seems to be in great shape. I heard that back in 1994 NH sent a service alert out to replace the pneumatic wheels with foam-filled wheels (or solid wheels). Anyone replace theirs? One reason for asking is that I'm in search to replace one of the pneumatic wheels and to do so now would cost about $110 each!!!

The higher quality finish mowers come with solid or filled wheels as flats are apparently pretty regular with pneamatic wheels on a finish mower. I'd look at replacing all four with solid in the situation you're in.

I agree that replacement of all four tires would be the logical option, but at ~$100/wheel, $400+ is a little steep since I only paid $800 for the mower. Anyone out there know of a place where I could get a used replacement wheel for the 930B mower????

Replaced mine a couple years ago. American tire in wheeling, wv did it for $125 all four. It has been a good mower. In ten years I have replaced the belt and one spindle other than the tires. I mow about 4 acres a week.
