Ok if disconnecting the starter ground isn't the starter bolted to the engine for grnd? Or do I have to unhook the engine grnd from the frame? Why can't I just unhook the wiring from the starter then hook it all back together eliminating the starter and do it that way? There are still 2 wires hooked to the starter but I don't think they are grnds. What am I missing here I am so sorry I do not have that much elec knowledge so please bear with me. Thanks

As long as you disconnect it. Any red wire is a hot wire, and from the wiring diagrams, it looks like power to other parts is picked up off the starter post. So if you remove the hots, keep them connected together so that everything else is powered.

Well guys it works so far with the great help of Richard and Gittyup and of course all of you it is so far up and running. Turns out it was all of my fault had a grnd wire I had missed and after reconnecting it the engine starts and runs like it is suppose to. SO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP and Richard and Gittyup need a pat on the back. I will have more problems no doubt so I will rely on all of you for help.

Thanks weeder:thumbsup:
