Dan.... I have looked at these pictures for a while now, and the only thing that I can think of is to putting a small retaining wall between the building and the sloped side yard. Grade the left side of the ground away from the wall. This will stop some of the water that is coming toward the building from the lawn area. The balance of the water that falls on the stone should be picked up by the stone and run away from the building. I would try to put a pipe in there if possible and put large commercial 6" gutters and downspouts on the roof and direct the downspouts away from the building.
