I woke up in the middle of the night when my daughter was around 5 months. I don't know if she made a noise of if I knew something wasn't wrong but I went to check on her and just as I left my room (across the hall), she started vomiting. I immediately turned her on her side and started talking to her and patting her back. It was one of the scariest moments in my life and I slept in her room for about a week before I felt she was well and I didn't have to worry. Today she is 3 and has been loving Christmas. Santa did well this year.

I hope she is feeling well enough to be able to enjoy the grand kids visit.

HEY ROBERT and what did santa ROBERT GET FOR HIS PRECIOUS AVA???? ARENT KIDS GREAT????:) ESPSECIALLY AT THAT AGE.:D

May the Lord bless her and keep her. May he make his face to shine upon her and bring her peace.

I hope your wife makes a full recovery. May The Good look over you both during this ordeal.

I will be posting as much as I can during the next 2 weeks as I will be home taking care of Beth. Thanks for the encouraging words and concern. Any prayers offered up on her behalf for continued healing would be greatly appreciated.

Well:eek: I didn't know I had a wife:eek:

Willis, I think you got me confused with Jeff who is married and it is his wife that needs prayers.

If I did have a wife I hope she would look like one of these beautiful ladies (now who wouldn't donate to the Salvation army with these ladies gaurding the tub:D )

Thanks for thinking about us but don't take time away from your wife just to keep us happy. Maybe if you can move your computer to Beths bedside...:)

Try to keep your spirits up and don't worry as I am sure she will be fine with you looking after her.

Please add my prayers for a FULL RECOVERY to your growing list of supporters. Every day from this one forward will feel blessed. Great news for Christmas!

Can you elaborate on the procedure you mentioned? Did the treatment not require surgery?

Update: Beth had a rough day with only a few short pain free periods, but we're holding steady. My boss told me to take what time I needed to get her better. She is resting a little right now. The procedure she underwent is similar to a heart cath where they enter the femoral artery and then advance a "wire" to the area in question while radio active dye is injected into the veins to show the area to be repaired. In the case of a cerebral problem, the patient is put to sleep and placed on a breathing machine to assure there is no way the patient can move involuntarily.A plug, that is called a coil, is used to stop the leak or rupture. No fluid is removed with this procedure, hence the head pain. It will continue to decrease as the body removes the fluid and pressure on the brain is relieved. The pain drives her nuts at times, but she does continue to show small positive improvements daily. Pain management for her is Tylenol. Stronger medicine would sedate her, but might mask symptoms of complications if they were to occur.
