Rest in Peace
Sorry to hear she's having such a rough time, but glad you're able to take the time off to be with her. Hopefully, it'll just continue to get better, even if it's slow.
Thanks. It will take a little time, but I believe we will make the journey ok. Beth has stood by me through thick and thin, and I'm sure not going to let her down.Bird said:Sorry to hear she's having such a rough time, but glad you're able to take the time off to be with her. That's a great point. Actually, Beth also has moderate atherosclerosis, and Dr. said as long as we limit to 3 doses per day, max dose 200 mg, we should be okay. The ecg showed some signs of possible anterior ischemia, but Dr. was not terribly concerned about that till she has a couple of weeks to recover from the aneurysm, then follow up with another echo, 12 lead and labs to see if a heart cath is in order. Today was much better, and there has only been one time where a dose of motrin was needed. We'll drop back to 1 baby aspirin per day when no more motrin is called for.DocHeb said:Double check with the doctor about using the Motrin (ibuprofen). It does have anti-platelet effects (it can change the ability of blood to clot.) May or may not have any difference depending on the procedure.
