This pic is my friends 5 yr old ... when asked what he wanted for his birthday, he replied I want to ride horse ... so I filled his wish!!

Ava asked for toy dogs and a poopy doll

She wants a horse and gets to ride on them every year as she goes to a lot of stables with me and grabs a ride with just about anyone who is riding. I hope to get someone to give her riding lessons so by the time she is 6 I can get her a nice old horse to ride.

Kids, They can ask for the darnest things! When you do decide on a horse, may I suggest an older model 10-15yrs old and baby doll broke! One thats been riden a million miles and has seen the world!

Thats what I meant by a nice old horse

I don't have much experience with horses but I have a lot of friends in the horse industry and they all told me to start her with an old horse that is use to kids and knows more then the rider so even if they tell the horse to do something the horse is smart enough to know better. The last thing I want to do is put Ava on a horse that will hurt her.

Your pics of your grandkid on HIS tractor is the first thing that came to my mind when I found these pics. I just had to share.

I am not sure how I will be when Ava starts dating. I have plenty of time before I have to worry about it though

Cherish every minute of that time. It will go by faster than you can ever imagine. My beautiful baby girl is now 38 and has three little ones of her own. But, she is still my baby girl.

Probably the favorite I have of my son.

My 17 YO daughter just went to homecoming.

Boy came over, we were all at the neighbors, he was slightly nervous so to break the ice I said something along the lines of, Son, just remember, I have a shotgun, a backhoe, and 9.5 acres to hide your body............

My daughter said he was a little skittish after that

I just saw this thread was moved. I looked to see where it was moved to and realized we have a photos forum. I have been using the 24 hour recent threads tool for so long I haven't looked at individual forums in a long time

The pictures are great, seeing kids having fun and happy is great. Ava has a cold right now but I keep wanting to take her to to the town playground so she can play on the playground and the snow at the same time
