This is a first for me, and I think it might be one of the first Rainbows Ava has seen as we don't find them very often up here.

December 23, 2007 is not a common time to find a Rainbow in New York. This one is as your looking towards Lake Erie. In the picture is my father holding my daughter Ava who is holding a new little yellow John Deere front loader (she wanted a yellow tractor and that is the only one I found that suited her at TSC )

We had just walked out of The Home Depot and I saw the rainbow and once Ava finally saw it she had the most amazed look on her face as she likes drawing rainbows but has never really seen one. It is a great day

My grandparents just came over and gave this to Ava. Ava has a thing with anything pink and anything princess so I saw something similar to this on Target.com but it was way to small for the amount of toys Ava has. I showed the picture to my gramps and he asked for a copy so he took that picture and used up some old sign board and had fun. My grandmother is very good at painting and she painted this. My aunt sketched out the outline on the sign board for my gramps to cut it and he then put it together.

Ava was very excited when they carried it in. She now has it left up against the table and is using it as a chair to play Candyland on. It is filled with Care Bears already.

It was a couple inches higher then it probably should have been but in a year it won't matter as Ava will be taller then My grandparents are making similar toy boxes for the other great grand kids also. I am terribly excited about Christmas this year as Ava is at that special age now where she is excited about it also
