Final Outcome! I'll keep it short.
I spoke with my Agco regional rep in Atlanta. I told him the entire story. He apologized that my purchasing dealer was no longer in business and I was having this issue with my local dealer. He said that this is not how AGCO wants its dealers representing or servicing their products. He said that my backhoe was still in its 1 year warranty and the hose is covered. He said that it does work like an automobile and any MF dealer can do warranty work on my tractor. He recommended that I contact two other dealers in my area and speak with them about my situation and decide on one to work with. He wanted me let him know who I decided on so that he could contact them as well. I did that, and decided on one. He had me remove the hose and have my New Holland dealer make a new one. I emailed him the receipt and he is giving me store credit. Both dealers where great to talk with and more than willing to work with me. One even willing to ship it to there closest service department 130 miles away from me for future service work!
I don't care if it's a $1000 part or a $5 part. If I didn't break it, and it shouldn't have broken, and its covered under warranty the manufacture should cover the part. I do know and understand that not everyone agrees, and I respect that. On the lighter side I did expect to get a little more emotional support from the group LOL. I'm also not ashamed to say that I am that guy some individuals described. I do my homework when I purchase something of significant value for a specific purpose. Especially when I have never operated anything bigger than a riding mower and I'm about to use it to transform my property with it, and plan to maintain it, and have it for a long time. That said I do not always, and did not in this instance go with the cheapest price. There is more than just price to a large purchase in my opinion. I am not one to just decide to buy something and walk into a local shop and buy it after a conversation with a salesman. I'm going to check out my options throughly prior to making a decision.
I have attached two pics of the view off my front porch from the day I bought the house and a pic I took a month ago. I have quite a bit more done since that photo and you can only see about half of the work area.
