A few pictures of the Gator XUV

Is that the Deere option winch? Was wondering as I ordered one and the dealer said it wouldn't be available till after April 2nd. He said the HPX winch was rated at 2500 pounds. The XUV winch is rated at 3000.

The winch I have is a Ramsey 3000. Deere winches are Warn. I have had better luck with Ramsey and since we were doing a custom mounting plate, etc. I went with it again.

Looks like the Deere winch is a Warn RT30. Picture on the Deere site matches up with the Warn RT30 on the Warn site. How does your Ramsey operate? Is it a cabled remote with a dash switch as well?

I have reading on the Warn site. Looks like they offer a wireless remote with part number 74500. Might look into that as it works up to 50 feet. I think I saw them listed for the Ramsey as well.

I have a Ramsey wireless remote on my HPX with a switch on the dash. The remote works great and it was cheaper than the JD option one which I believe was Warn.

I made mine out of 1/4 inch steel plate and about 8 inchs of 2 inch square tubing. You can buy one for $65 at atvpartsdepot.

go to walmart and just buy a trailer hitch and don't put the ball on it and weld you a plate to the top of it you can get them in all diferent sizes meaning offsets witch is good because when you get stuck and you try to put the winch in the rear reciever and you have it in a regular mount it will be underwater. but if you buy a hitch from walmart with a 4 or 6" lift to it it will put the winch out of the water.plus the holes are predrilled for it to fit into the reciever part of the xuv.

I think the one you linked to is for a fullsize winch like the Ramsey 9k I have on my truck. JC

I was wondering where you can buy that radio mount and speaker bar. All the ones I've seen have been for the Rhino etc. Will it work without the roof, or do you have to have it to keep the speakers out of the weather. I currently have the OPS 3 light lightbar that mounted on top of the roll bar and I don't know if the roof will work with that. Any help would be great!
