When I built my 5 x 9 dump trailer eons ago... I made the single axle my pivot and modified a single camper jack mounted on the tongue for the motive force to tip...
Never a problem with weight because the bed was mounted with 60% forward and 40% aft of the axle...
I was amazed at how well it works and the jack it very compact... still have it today... 30 years later.
The only downside is the number of pumps required for a full tip...
