I am on my way to Vegas with my bet......
Someone needs a new injector pump.
Anyone want to go double or nothing?
I would like to take that bet but only because of our freak (and I do mean freak) experience with one tractor here. Out of all the tractors sold in this area, 1 comes to mind when the problem was described.

Willie, send me a personal message with your dealer's name and number or the dealer doing the repair so I can call him and tell him of our findings.
Also, how many hours are on the tractor?

Willie: Is it still under warranty?

Yup, I only wish that held off the white stuff till she returns........but I guess warrantees can only go so far. They are going to pick 'er up Friday and who knows how long it'll be absent. :(

Well, doesn't that sound omnious. I certainly don't look forward to having one of those "freak" tractors that tend to baffle techs.... ;) You sure got me curious though, gremlins?

The tractor has 118 hrs on 'er. I'll PM ya the digits.

Well, my tractor went in for a little operation today. Hopefully it will a non-invasive procedure and a speedy recovery.

The tech tried starting it to no avail. Fuel pump worked fine, fuel to injector pump but nothing out through the injector lines. Made for a little fun to get 'er loaded w/o power, but we managed with the help of gravity(my house is on a hill) and a come-a-long to finish loading on trailer.

Will post again with the results....................soon hopefully.

Ah the come-a-long. I've loaded my CK twice with a blocdy dang darn come-a-long.

Hope it gets fixed soon.

I think my faulty memory recalls one other who had a floating turd in the fuel tank that would block inlet whenever it felt...just a thought. Its all my chrystal ball could conjure without being on location. LOL hope this helps
also makes me wonder if your shut off solenoid on the pump is energized during no run event and if it is is the plunger opening?? Thats about as many is'es as I can fit in a sentence. :~}

Update.............

................all those who placed a bet on the injector pump...........are winners. Double your money if you can guess which part went bad............

Stopped in at the shop today for a diagnosis. It is the fuel cutoff. It will not release, stuck closed. So just waiting on a new injector pump to arrive and they can get my baby back home hopefully by late next week. Pump replacement will be covered under warranty.;) I just hope Mother Nature holds off on the white stuff somewhat until she returns.

Thanks to all who posted here.

HAPPY NEW PACK! :)

Good to hear they're on the trail.Fuel cutoff:confused: Mine is manual, I can't see how it could stick closed; another reason to stick with gears and levers rather than solenoids,et.al. You're fortunate to be where you are as we got 8'' of the white stuff Mon. with a foot forecast for tonite into tomorrow:rolleyes:

So - If it's the fuel -cut off why did it run wide open on you one time ? And if it's just the cut-off why are they replaceing the pump ? I didn't hear the fat lady sing yet !
