You know I really couldn't tell you. I don't have a lot of experience with Mig welders. About 10-years ago I bought a Linde VI-206 at an auction, only reason I bought it is about 20-years before that I used them on a job sheeting an 80' x 80' x 70' tall building with 4' x 8' x 10-GA sheets. All open root 100% penetration. The Lindes worked perfect! Other than that all my wire feed experience as been with 400 + amps engine drives with an LN-22 or LN-25 attached to them running Innershield wire.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

And you are just playing around? Man, I wish my welds looked that nice ...

That looks like a really nice machine. How are the wire guides/feed rollers? I looked at one major brand that had some sort of plastic feed rollers and it just looked like there is no way they would last.

The feeder/roller assembly is very robust, IMHO.
Check this out.

It will never weld!! Ain't got no wire in it!! Sorry couldn't help myself. I like the burn back knob and force knob. I like knobs instead of menus. :)

Man that is impressive, a 4-drive roll system on a machine that size!

I have to give it to Everlast, the wire drives do look nice. The look about the same or better then miller. I do still think the machined aluminum of the high end lincolns look better, but not having run either, I am going just on looks. I am glad to see everlast doesn't cheap out on the wire drive, even low end lincolns, and I think some of the hobart have a mainly plastic wire drive. Doesn't matter how nice the power supply is, if the wire drive slips all the time. I know the 125 amp (POS) lincolns at school were terrible for that. Always atleast one of the three wasn't working.

Couple months ago I loaded up some 1/16-inch Coreshield 8 in my Lincoln LF-72 feeder. I could not keep it from slipping. I made up a spacer for the tensioning bolt, and it still slipped! So I had to pull out my LN-25. Don't understand why the LN-25 doesn't slip, but the LF-72 does. :confused3:
