I brought my tractor home to work on the 50 hour maintenance and discovered it has sprung a small leak. See pictures. The dealer is coming to get the tractor on Friday. They were as supprise as I when I call them about it. Has anyone had this problem? You can't see it to well in the pictures, but theres gasket material coming out on the right side and left side.

The close in shot makes it hard to tell what the part is. I think it is at the back of the tractor. If so, the rear lubrication, and hydraulics may just be overfull. However, this is just a guess.

Then again, if this is the front axle, the fluid (hydraulic or 90W), may just be overfilled. The font axle is either filled to a level one can see through a peep hole, or filled to the bottom of the weep hole. On my CK35, the weep hole is located on the "driverside" axle about 2/3s the way up.

It's at the back of the tractor by the gray filter. It's where the front and the back of the tractor come together. Major problem? I'm not sure.

Holy smokes! Mine is doing the same thing only is has 800 hours and the puddle is bigger. The leak appears to be from that joint between the transmission and the rear end. I am very interested to find out how this goes as mine has been leaking for months. I am thinking that my hydro fluid reservoir is overfull somehow. This is not a pressure leak, it will leak at the same rate whether the machine is running or not. So far it has just made a mess but no change in operation.

Thanks for the heads up.

I looked at my 2005 ck30hst, maybe a little damp seepage there but nothing really.

I plan to tighten those bolts a bit if they need it.

I seen it before..
If you ask me I would say that the hst charge pump steel pipe o-rings are leaking.

Wallace, which O-rings are they? Are they external? Can't tell from the diagram which seal you think is the culprit.

The one I did a few years ago was #12

Yes
It's not really a bad job at all once you remove the floorboards everything is in the open.
Take your loader off first it will help when rolling the front half away from the rear.
Make sure you have 2 floor jacks and 4 jack stands.
If you are in there and find a bad o-ring make sure when reassembling you put some grease or lube on the o-rings.

The one I did was brand new out of the crate and the o-ring was nicked during the assembly process.
I also had one on a different color machine that when they welded the fitting onto the steel pipe there was a pin hole in the factory weld job:mad:

Once again, any service bulletins? I would hate for someone to go through all the trouble and then find out it was a warranty issue.

A simple yes or no from a dealer will do!

After you alienated most every dealer on this forum, do you honestly believe they are going to give you any kind of answer?
If someone did, you'd probably turn on them too.

Wallace, sorry if I am not seeing the big picture, but couldn't you just remove #11 and pull #9 back and replace the o-ring? I am only basing this on your picture and I don't really know what stuff is built around these tubes that would make it a tractor splitting project. Just trying to expand knowledge. I know I have spent days trying to fix something and not taking other things off a machine, finally relenting and tearing the thing completely apart. It probably would have been faster if I had done that in the first place. Sometimes you work harder trying to avoid work! ;)

The hst pump is in side of the trans case those pipes are going in to the rear end case.

Wallace, I can't thank you enough for your assistance. My dealer (Kurt) (we had a cup of coffee as we looked things over)was at my door at 7:30 CST this morning to pick up my toy. He too stated that his would be a split the tractor project. I love my Kioti, but am a bit surprised it has sprung a leak so soon and what seems to me its a major job to fix it. (I'm a computer guy, no not a Geek as some would put it, but I do make a good living at it.) As I see it, it's new and there will be some bugs that need to be worked out much like new computer software programs.
My kids named the Kioti for me. They call it the "Jim Dandy" that's because I smile a lot when using I'm use it.
Having a great dealer is key without question. I choose Kioti taking a big risk because of the fact there is only one dealer in Minnesota. So far I am not disappointed only a little discouraged. Everyone should take notice when a dealer is a friend and not just another store to go to pick something up.

Hello Everyone.

They (M&M Express)droped off my tractor yesterday afternoon. They replaced the gasket between the tranny and the rear-end and serveral little O-rings. Its as good as new. Wow, what service! Should I be replacing the Hydro filter again after a few hours? I didn't ask them this question.

That's great. I wonder what the cost was to do the work since I have no warranty and my leak is more substantial than yours was. Also, any harm in running it? It's a slow leak, huge oil reservoir, and maybe expensive repair.

Thanks for sharing.
