It was delivered this afternoon, The wife and I mowed about 3/4 of our yard and I filled in a couple holes in my yard. here is a pic of it tucked into bed for the night:

Scrappy...
First...a very nice setup you have. Thanks for the picture.
2nd...Where are you located? Most of us here are still looking at the huge piles of snow in our yards only dreaming of warmer weather and getting some seat time for mowing.
3rd...only a suggestion but you might look into adding some work lights for night work as the factory light mounted in the front of the hood get blocked when you raise the loader 12-18 inches off the ground. If interested, search the Owning/Operating forum and you will find plenty of helpful information from other members who have previously tackled this task.

And finally...enjoy your new unit and have fun!

I am in eastern NC and i didn't really need to mow(the grass is brown) it was just to let the wife get used to it and trim up the taller parts (i haven't mowed since I bought the house in Oct).
I realized last night that I need additional lights!

I now have 7 hrs on it, a neighbor has 1.25A beside my property that is growing wild and I spent ~1.5hrs mowing it. Overall I am very happy with the rig!
The only issue so far is that the mower and IMatch are not compatible as delivered. the upper mast is too tall for the Imatch upper link "claw" to grab. Deere offers an Imatch conversion kit for it but I haven't asked how much yet. Does anyone have the Imatch conversion for their RFM? It sounds like it isn't cheap! I have seen the conversion kit on a larger mower but not a 1060. I am trying to decide if I want to buy the kit or build something myself?

OK next question, I don't know if it is my imagination or not but the engine seems to be turning more rpms @ wot now. When I first got it, it seemed like 3100 rpms is all it would turn. after mowing the other day, it will now turn ~3200 rpms. the only difference between then and now is a shot of white bottle PS when I filled it back up prior to mowing Monday.
and it also is using less fuel, the first half tank was gone in ~3.5 hrs. and since then (~3.5 hrs) it has only used 1/4 tank.
Also is there a break in procedure on it? Should I limit rpms? The rated speed for the rear pto is ~3100 so that is where I have run it with the mower. I was under the impression that it needed to be worked(WITHOUT lugging it!) to hasten break in. Even mowing 12"-18" high grass with the 60" finish mower, the engine would not pull down(that I could tell!)
I ordered the "Imatch and trade" conversion kit for the mower that should be here in about a week.

I own a 2320. Got it this past summer. LOVE IT. I need to mow quite a bit and have the mid deck mower for it. I removed the FEL once and found its a pain even with the quick release, so now I just drop the bucket when mowing. In two wheel drive and with the bucket off, you can zip around and mow in tight spots.

I use the bucket to move gravel as well with no balance weights, and it seems fine, weight wise. The bucket is the 200 so its not like the bigger tractors and bigger buckets.... takes a few more trips.

I brush hog and snowblow off the back end and have not felt the need for weights at all.

If you have the incling, get the mid deck mower. I have the 5 foot deck as its some rough terrain. If I had a big open field I would have opted for the 6 foot deck.

I have now had the tractor for a little over 6 months. as of tonight I have put 57 hrs on it. It still impresses me what something so small can do! For me the configuration I bought is perfect. now I need more implements!

For all the years I used a 755 (similiar in weight to 2320) with a FEL and MMM, for typical tasks around the farmyard, weights of any kind seemed unnecessary. I moved some pretty big rocks too. But as far as weights go, it depends on what tasks require.

Congrats on the 2320. I think the 2320 is a nice machine.
