Rent or borrow a rotary laser level. If you are not dead level you can have a failure and that is ugly. I only it in a 20' and had to dig down 16" to get it level. Mine sits on 4" of washed mason sand that I axles down then wet down for 4 days before setting the pool. Mine is less then a 1/16" out of level after 3 years of settling.
Also - make sure the pool meets local electric codes. My town required more then the standard gfi setup. They required a gfi service outlet within 6' of the pump.
