AC Options, Mini Split?

We had a mitsubishi mini split installed at the Cabin a 4n1 and my only complaint is that there is never shuts off the fans blow constantly.

This is a complaint many have, but it needs the air circulation to monitor the temperature and reduce temp swings. I have the fan on mine set on auto and when it is not heating/cooling, the fan speed is so low I don't hear it.

On either the Mitsubishi or Trane, I thought it measured the temp through the remote control so it maintained the temp where the remote was and not the blower?

Not with the Mitsubishi, the temp sensor is in the unit not in the remote. I was also under the impression the temp sensor was in the remote until I bought one. My installer quoted me about $600 to add a remote thermostat to the unit.

I have a Mitsubishi in my attic converstion office. I love it. Previously, the central HVAC could not keep up well (thermostat is downstair). Once I put in the Mini split, it was a significant improvement.

It did cost me ~$4K, but I had a difficult install--~50 ft from the outside compressor unit + a bucnh of other issues.

Does anyone know if there is a distance limitation on how far away the compressor can be mounted from the unit? I may have a long run when I install mine.

Yes there is a limit, I think ~80'. My MSZ-FE18NA Mitsubishi has a 61' run and it works fine so far.
