Dave,
This may be a stoopid newb question, but how do MAP gas torches rate vs oxypropane?
What extra equipment does oxypropane require?
I have a MAP/propane torch, but if there is a really huge difference in effect, and it isn't too much more complicated or expensive to learn to use, I for one would certainly buy into an oxypropane rig...
Thanks,
Thomas
Basically think of an oxy/acetylene torch kit because that's what you buy.
Only real difference is put on a propane cutting tip instead and buy the propane rated hose set instead of the acetylene hoses.
Lighting and adjusting is slightly different but no big deal.
Pick up the oxy tank and use your BBQ grill tank.
I use the cutting torch tips for heating as well.
