Has anybody adaped a ten inch plow to a TPH. I've ordered a JD 2210 and traded my JD 214. I want to use the plow this spring and later on I may get a tiller. I have a walk behind tiller but it is very old. My hitch on the 214 was called a lift hitch.
Thanks if you can offer any help

Do you have a picture you can post?

Should be able to weld a converter bracket that will fit both, either yourself, if so equipped, or by taking to a welder to help you do it.

Beenthere- I took a picture of the plow. I don't know how to reduce the size so I can attach it

Download a free program called PIXresizer here

It will work wonders with one or multiple pics.

Here is what I did for my 10" plow. I used to use it on my Cub Cadet that had a sleeve hitch and now use it on my BX. Here is an old post of mine when I plowed my Garden a couple years ago that has some pitctures of my setup.

Your welcome. I also had the 2" reciever hitch built after looking at other ones on this site. I liked the idea of using that hitch for other things like moving my trailer, and my cargo carrier if I wanted to.

I built my adaptor with the stop on one side for the plow and the other side without so I could use it for attaching my garden cart as well, but have since added a stop on both sides and eliminated the potential use of the garden cart to the 2" reciever hitch.

I found it gave better support to the plow and I don't use the garden cart much since I have the loader now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice Job!

Wow, I thought I was the only one to make one of these things /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I did the same thing as you, I made the 3pt to 2" receiver and then a 2" receiver to sleeve hitch. Very cool. I made mine to use some forks I made for a winch powered sleeve hitch on a GT.
