Recently acquired a new 8540 with one rear remote hydraulic.

I am now thinking that I might like to add two more.

I am mostly new to tractors. I know I can buy some sort of 'kit' from Kubota and they can do it or I can do it. I am waiting on a quote for the parts and labor.

Question is this - should I install them myself and save some $ or is it tough to do?

Another question: I want to control a batwing mower. Is there some sort of three way valve that I could get that would multiplex a single remote to two different hydraulic female connectors. That is, it would be like a 3-way stopcock to direct the flow, meanwhile, preserving the pressure in the other, unused line. I could get off the tractor, throw the valve, and, for ex., lift the wings, then switch back to mower height control.

And . . . what online place would I get these valves, stopcocks, connectors and the hose material.

Thanks for reading,

DJ

Update:

Price is $639 for each valve + $130 for the other stuff for each valve.

I'm looking at an online hydro place and most of their valves are in the $200 to $300 range. Am I going to need the exact part from Kubota? Can I order online at a discount over what they quote me?

BTW, they want $130 to install them. Not too bad, but I have to get my tractor to them.
