Yessir, that's what I've been able to find. And from what I've read its a good hoe except for the electronic return to center on the bucket.swing is prone to failure . I've heard there's a kit to convert it to regular controls like the other controls. But from what I've read you can't get the kit as a whole anymore, you have to piece it together. So I'm gonna contact my local kubota dealer tomorrow and see what they say. I wanted to convert it even beforebi found out it was a problem since all the wiring and computer are burned anyway. So I've gotta take it apart in the morning, I'm hoping the electric servo is just mounted on top of a regular valve body and I can fabricate a linkage to the lever

As noted before, I'm only slightly better than the guy who stayed at the Holiday Inn last night regarding what you're doing, but it would be surprising to me if it was a simple fix getting that backhoe to fit an L3010. I think you're in for some kind of metal bending/fabrication/customization adventure, and here's why:

The B20 was a factory-built TLB whose hard points for attaching the backhoe came from the factory and weren't simply substitutes for a standard 3 point. In fact the tractor was designed primarily for the backhoe and it was the 3 point that was the afterthought... usually it's the other way around. Also, the "B" indicates it was a smaller chassis than your "L" model.

I'd think it would be very useful to have information about the design and dimensions of the tractor side of those attachment hard points... how the tractor was engineered to accept the backhoe... so you can come up with something similar on your L3010. Maybe there are some owners who could give you some photos or shop diagrams to go by. Hope I'm wrong about this and it's an easy fit up because it should be a great little hoe.

You're right, there's gonna be a lot of Fab work to make it fit my tractor, but one thing I can do is Fab and make things work that weren't made to. If I can make my ranger run down the highway with a kubota motor I should be able to do this right? Lol. Anyway, I already got the top half of the bracket mounted on the Tractor today, the part where your third arm mounts. Had to cut apart the backhoe mount and modify to fit my Tractor. Should have the hoe completely mounted tomorrow. My biggest problem is gonna be overcoming the electronic swing, making it manual. Gonna try to make it work without buying the kit from kubota, my understanding is it costs about $700. And a hose schematic would be useful but I'm sure I can figure it out. I'm also gonna build a tank and run a pro driven pumpx this one was plumbed into the b20 hydraulics directly. And the.last hurdle will be finding a bucket, I imagine they're not cheap. Hopefully I can find a used one, if not ill just build one I guess

Let me give you a heads up about that top arm mount on your L3010. As you know, Kubota built their compacts like the L3010 (and my L4610) with the top link attachment coming off the back of the housing for the internal 3 point lift cylinder, which sits on top of the differential. For ordinary 3 point implements, the design is perfectly adequate, but with attachments that can place extreme loads on the top link, such as a logging winch or a 3 point backhoe, the loads can actually cause a catastrophic failure of the rear end casting.

Kubota makes optional reinforcing kits that transfer some of the loading around to the top and front of the rear end assembly for such situations. I bought such a kit for my tractor (haven't installed it yet) for reinforcement with my logging winch, and if you want, I'll PM you the part numbers, etc. The kit is about $150 as I recall... but since you're doing your own fabrication, I expect you could come up with your own version that would work just as well or better should you wish to do so.

Another alternative is a completely separate mount that avoids the rear differential assembly, such as the accompanying pic of the BH mount on my L4610. Just something to think about. Good luck!

Thanks for.the pic, mine is just like that. And you're right, 6 bolts directly in the back, the original had those and two more on the top going down into the housing. I'm definitely gonna modify it, I can't afford to replace a rear end. I think I'm gonna make the three point mount go over the top and use the two bolts on top of the housing as well as add some support from my axle where the rops or front end loader mounts are. I appreciate the input. Now if anyone had a downloadable service manual I'd be set. Im gonna get hoses made locally instead of buying from kubota, should be a fraction of the cost. I'd like to see how long the hoses are so they have plenty of room to flex with the arms. And I called my local kubota about the conversion kit for the swing cylinder, they are looking for one right now

I'm concerned about the fact that the BH mounts to a subframe and also to the 3 pt arms. Obviously you don't want it mounted to both at the same time. Even if you were careful not to ever hit the 3pt control, operating the backhoe could actuate the draft control via the top link connection which would then attempt to lift the hoe and possibly break something.
What I'm wondering is if the 3pt pins on the backhoe are only used for lifting the backhoe into position....if so, when the hoe is connected to the subframe the 3pt lift arms should then be disconnected. Could that be the reason for the 3 pt pins on the backhoe itself?
luck, rScotty.

No, I think I figured that out. I was looking at the subframe backwards, they're way too close to the tractor to be for that. I'm almost positive theyre actually the Tractor side 3 point arm mounts. The mount they swivel on. They're directly below the third arm part. The subframe was disassembled when I got it so I didn't see the spacing relative to the top mount.

The bracket for my reinforcing kit is "L" shaped, 1/2" plate, with holes for the 6 rear bolts and attachment holes along the top, just as you describe. There are two sub-brackets (right and left side) that serve as extensions from the underside of the "L" bracket down to the top of the rear end.

I have a paper copy of the shop manual, but it's probably 600 pages. If you know specifically what you need, I'll be glad to see if I can find it and find a way to pass it along. Also, here's a link to on-line parts diagrams for Kubota. I think it has both L3010 and B20 information.

The biggest thing I need right now is a hose routing diagram for.the backhoe. The braces ill figure out. And I've figured out how to convert the electric return to dig junk to manual for probably less than $100 and a little fabricating
