adding a thumb to Kubota KX-018

I spoke with another Kubota dealer who advised me that Kubota has a valve available for this that vents excess pressure over to other side of cylinder and they use it on their thumb installations. OMG I have many hours into this with no success to hopefully have found a solution. I have ordered the valve and will install in when I receive. I will let you know once done.

Hey there this is a shot in the dark but I just came across this thread and had to sign up. I have a kubota kx018-4 excavator that I need to install a thumb on. I found a pin on factory connect model that I just purchased but I too have a pressure reduction dilemma. Is there anything you found out that you could possibly share, as far as the valve that kubota recommended for you? I spoke with my local dealer and to no avail whatsoever. One of the techs actually tried telling me it was not possible... I ended the conversation with them right there to say the least. Any help/information you could provide would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
