Adding Factory cab to open station

/ Adding Factory cab to open station #21
It listed under section 32 - CAB but it doesn't state what comes with it and I'll bet no wiring or AC compressor lines.

Part Number: LVA16958
Replaces Part: MIA10726
Part Price: 5,690.00 USD
Description: 3X20-4X20 CAB FRAME ASSY (DOM/EEC)

I can tell you from installing Hiniker and Year-a-Round cabs that installing a cab is a long way from an easy job

That is what I refereed to as the "shell".

That's fairly high $$$$$$$$ for a shell @ $5690. It's referred to as a CAB in the parts cat and it weighs Weight 665.99 LBS 302.09 Kg If that's not it then it must come out of Whole Goods not parts.

As I was blowing snow tonite in my 3720 factory cab I was thinking of this thread. How does the dash compare to a factory cabbed tractor. Would the glass still arch around the open station dash the same as a factory setup? Do the fenders match identical? (remember.... there are 2 doors to seal up;). WAY too many details like this and as others mentioned to really make it a feasable project IMO.

I agree with the majority in this thread, 7K for the cab plus your time and labor is alot of money, if it was me I would trade on a cabbed tractor.

I was looking at installing a aftermarket cab like a Laurin or other higher end cab but ended up trading instead.
