So I've decided to add a FEL to my tractor. This decision comes after not being able to sell my tractor in time to purchase a NON-Tier 4 engine Kubota. I'm stuck between two brands of loaders, the Kubota LA524 and Ansung 2540C... There is about a $1000 price difference between the two. The Ansung edges out the Kubota on just about everything spec wise and also includes a 1 year warranty as the Kubota. After looking at the 2540c loader it looks to be built quite well and looks like it would be up to my needs. Any opinions or information regarding my choice of FEL? I plan on purchasing within the next week or so.. thanks

If resale of your tractor doesn't matter then it may not matter. If it does then get the Kubota.

Where is the Ansung made? That would mean a lot to me!

I agree. A non-Kubota FEL will likely be worth "zero" when you sell your tractor. About the time you want to sell, the issue of FEL parts availability and ease of access to parts will be an issue.

Have you explored this issue of hydraulic flow to the FEL carefully? If you do not have enough flow, the higher rated capacity of the Ansung will not do you any good.

Ansung loader looks fine to me:I have Kubota loaders on both my tractors. What is the cost difference?
Sounds like the OP is going to keep his tractor so resale point is mute.

The lift capacity and breakout force is controlled by the hydraulic pressure. I am sure the Ansung is rated at 2490psi. The L3200 factory pressure relief setting is 2347psi. This means the loader will not lift the rated capacity without adjusting the pressure relief on the tractor. I figure the actual Lift Capacity To Full Height @ Pivot Pin for the Ansung will be 1135lbs.

Honestly i don't think the ansung could hurt my resale any worse than it has. If anything it will help me sell if I decide to later on. My tractor isn't worth diddly unless it has a fel regardless of brand. I'm sure some people maybe picky to have a matching Kubota loader, but frankly most people wouldn't know the difference especially around my town. If i had my way, I'd sell right now and buy a very nice 2012 L3240 that I've had my eyes on for some time... But I can't take the loss on my tractor to do that. What does the Kubota loader have to justify the $1k difference? Other than having a pretty Kubota sticker on the side what am i gaining? A kubota loader isn't out of the question, but I'm looking at all options.
