Are there bolts going through the receiver tubes and the gusset?
I know I'm missing something, I just can't see it.
The only fastener I can see is the clamping bar and angle iron, something must keep it from sliding back or sideways.

Looks good, I think wheels would make a rear blade more manageable, when ever I've used mine in the dirt I got in trouble, just use mine for snow on pavement. I see you have a Harbor Freight quick hitch, I just bought one tonight for my older ford, have the JD i-match on the newer machine but didn't want to spend over $200. for another one.
It looks pretty HD any comments on it.

I agree. It looks like the only thing that holds those receiver tubes with those very long lever arms in place is the friction against the angle iron pressing down from above. In turn that is only held in place by one bolt.

As the plow is used there will always be vibration, and it seems this will all come loose and fall apart. With a little welding that would change of course.

there are 2 1/2" bolts attaching each reciever tube to the gussets the nuts are just located in the tube so you cannot see them. I added that clamp to the tubes after the fact because i thought that the gussets may not be strong enough and the clamp puts some load on that center tube.

I do not really like the HF quick hitch, i must have bought the model that was only 26" wide because it never fit anything. but i have made it about 27.5" wide by spreading it with a bottle jack.

Well just found out the HF QH wont work with all my implements with bushings sized to the JD i-match, or the others I modded.
The i-match has 1.5 inch j hooks on the bottom and 1.25" hook at the top, I think what JD did was make their cat 1 work with cat 2 implements using the bushings which are held in with those roll pins which would be a PITA to remove just to swap implements between the two tractors/QH's.

This one is 27.25" wide. I may have to grind the hooks if I want to make this work, the price was right @ $79. even the one from TSC is over 200.
