Adding LED work lights

I was lucky when I stuffed the light it broke cleanly where the light body mounts to the plastic base, little black duct tape took care of it and will do for now. All I had to do to mount them inside was reverse them to the opposite side and drill a half inch hole on the inside of the ROPS for the wire. They will re mount using the same bolts they were originally mounted with.

I wired them directly to the tail light wires, so the factory switch controls them.

Thanks for the info. Closer inspection made me realize yours mount different than mine. I have a small bracket welded to the outside of the ROPS, making it a littler trickier to flip the lights. The tiller shaking was enough to throw one half of the lens into a ditch, and wadded up the wiring enough that I cut them off at the bulbs and soldered on new ones. I still flinch every time a tree branch comes near it so that might be something I look into a bit more this weekend.

And I did the same as MoMower on my 2310, drilled one small hole for the wires when I mounted my ROPS lights on the inside. I welded up some brackets so I could use the original bolts to attach them. Haven't clipped a light since; should have done this a long time ago (like immediately after I bought it in 2007:laughing

Still have yet to mount some LED work lights, but I can see that's not too far ahead.
