Perhaps you have some hyd fluid mixed in the oil.

If you didn't add any oil, then it is either hyd fluid or water mixed in the oil.

Check your hyd tank for level.

nope. This is the engine oil. Hydraulics shouldn't be getting into the engine oil. It's an oddity for sure

Yes it can by way of hyd pump seal.

however when I drained it when it first happened...no sign of mixed fluid and the Hydraulic fluid was ok. When I replaced the oil filter and oil..I went ahead and did the fuel and hydraulics while I had it raised. The fluid was topped off when I checked it.. ( fluid replaced was added to the log splitter tank) but I will check that

Loosed the engine pan drain plug until it starts dripping and look at the fluid. If there is water, it probably will come out first. If the fluid and oil has been emulsified, it will have a milky color.

Could be radiator fluid. Check the radiator fluid level.

Did you read the levels correctly.

If your tractor can generate more fluid than you put in, then I would say you have a good invention.

When it first happened I checked all levels. and all were good. except the engine oil was showing higher than the hash marks.
deciding that it might be a clogged filter. We did a full engine oil change and filter change. Figured while I was at it..went
ahead changed the HFluid and filter ( man that thing has gone up in price ) Coolant fluid was ok..no sign of discolor or bubbles.
Upon level it back off and cranking it up for a minute to circulate the new oil. Let is set for 10 mins and then checked again.
It still showed above the hash marks and all the other fluids were ok as well. Mil qualified DED/GED Power Generation Mech here.
That's why I turned to here. I have never seen anything like this. But I have decided to strip it down after I return from a
trip north to be by a buddies side during a major surgery.. so will follow up when I get back
