Starting a new thread just for this question. Open center system, added a spool valve that needs a return to tank.

I wanted to make the line as short as possible by T-ing into a fitting at the tank, to avoid long hoses/hardlines and an "uphill" run. Now that I crawl under there, I find the space very limited and likely a real PITA to T into. And, I runs "uphill" about 6 inches anyway. I did not want to run a hose or line from the rear to the front loader return line and T into that at the valve, mainly because of the length and about a18-24 inch "uphill" run.

I've touched on this before but wanted to again, to see if there are any "hydraulics" reasons that argue for one over the other?

I have run across an older post for adding a thumb, which shows a T at the FEL return to tank line so it appears that should work fine.

However, without taking apart the existing stuff, can't identify the fitting I might need.

Can someone identify the threads on this item: "75595-63410, Plug, Orifice"? It thread into the tank return on the FEL (TL421). As ususal Kubota does not provide any information on the fitting and no cross has turned up s far.

Perhaps in addition to or instead of the part above, how about specs for this one "75550-61900, Elbow adjustable" or "75540-61910, Elbow, adjustable"? Those thread into the part above using an O ring, with a backup washer and nut. I take that to be an SAE ORB.

I guess I can just break down and disassemble it and take it to the hydraulic shop, as I have to get hoses made up anyway.
