I plan to add a third RR and also re-instate the 2nd which is currently disconnected. Its QDs are instead connected to the hydraulIc PTO circuit. But the idea of a hydraulic PTO at the back of the tractor appeals to me so I want to keep that as well. Preferring to stay with the original style QDs I have found some part kits on ebay. As my current remotes doesn't have float it would be nice with a float-equipped.

I have bought the following;

L8307 Third position remote lever kit for L30 series
L8304 Float detent valve
L8337 Third position remote lever kit for L40 series ( just for the QD parts and hoses)

The female push-pull QDs are Parker 9006-001. Unfortunately a version with NPT thread, hence the pre-taped adapters that came with the kits. The rest of the fittings, hose ends and valve body seems to be standard BSP 3/8". The male QDs are Pioneer 8010-4, also with NPT threads which are useless to me, but I can just throw them away.

The interesting part will be to see if a third valve will fit on a cab model, it seems mighty tight in there. Just waiting for a replacement valve top bracket to arrive and I will get to it. Will report if it fits or not.

Tractor thread is here: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...bought-l5030hstc-post4037225.html#post4037225

If adding a third valve section you will also need longer threaded rods that hold the valve sections together and you may get a set of O rings for the section also .

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, the longer M8 bolts and O-rings are all included in the L8307 kit. I just took the photo of the hydraulic parts.
Also the lever, lever handle, pins, decals and new M8 bolts for 3 stacked QD "sockets" are included. Might need to make a custom bracket to get the 4th QD set on the side and start a new stack there, not sure if 4 will fit on top of each other, and in any case that would mean using M8 threaded rod cut to the right size.

The only thing I think is missing is possibly space between the valve end cover and the cab frame... but we will see when I get the wheel off so I can get my head in there.... Want to do this before I fill the wheels with fluid....

BUMP!

I have just received MOST of my Kubota OEM parts to add 3 remotes to my L4330. Still waiting on the 3rd position lever kit.

The 6 page "Instruction Manual" has numerous pix, and refers to a "Parts List" on pages 4 and 6, but there's no actual parts list I can find other than what's in the text. And that doesn't describe anything about exactly what sizes the various bolts/nuts/o-rings are.

Did you just use whatever parts seemed to fit right, or is there actually some parts list that I am missing?

Particularly the one small lip seal and the one white nylon (?) ring?

Guess I'll just have to see if my dealer or his service guys know.

I was able to figure out most of the o-rings and bolts by process of elimination.

Well, for anyone looking up this thread in the future, evidently the lip seal and ring are NOT used. At least with the L8304 detent valves. My dealer looked up the "regular" rear hydraulics parts drawings for Lxx30 series tractors. They show (badly) the seal on the valve stem/spool. But the way the L8304 valves are made, they already have what appears to be an internal seal, covered by the top plate for mounting the lever. There's no way to install the seal there. No idea why Kubota included them with the valves.

And another head-scratcher is why Kubota includes numerous unused o-rings of various sizes.

Thanks C4. I had read your thread before. It's one of the things that encouraged me to go ahead and add the remotes and to go with Kubota OEM parts. Can't beat the integrated fit. Would have been nice to pay maybe half as much for generic parts, but I would have had countless hours and $ in fabricating mounts and levers to fit my factory "slots", not to mention the hydraulic block/connection.

Speaking of which, did you notice on yours that the bolts supplied to fasten down the hydraulic block seem quite short? Mine have only about 1 cm of length left even after the lockwasher is compressed. I'll either check the holes to see if I can fit a cm longer bolt or be VERY careful with the torque on these!

Hummm don't recall the bolt being short. Think the thread "stick out" was about the same as the end piece I removed.

As you have all 3 valves laid out, make sure all 3 sets of bolts are progressively longer. You will make sure your 3rd valve kit is the one you're using and is longer than the 2nd kit.

Yeah, price was rough to swallow but time is money and these were a snap to install and look like it came from the factory this way.
