- traded MF135 for a 2605 4x4 &added a Mahindra eMax 22HST
I wanted a little more room to store tools/pins and ect. So checked the price for another MF tool box and it was around $42. Though that was too high so looked around for a metal tool box and did not find anything that was suitable to me. Got the idea to use a mail box. Found one for about $15. Its a little lighter metal that I would have liked but will give it a try. The box was labeled heavy duty, would hate to see a light duty one!
Did add sheet metal screws to help hold it together. Have some flat rubber mat so cut some of that for the backing. The back has about half inch of space that has to be filled to bring back out to be even with the sides. Made a bracket to mount the box to; as could not find a place to mount it on the fenders. Removed the slow moving sign and mounted the bracket to that bracket and then mounted the sign to the new bracket also. That moved the sign up about 4 and had to drill out the holes for bigger screws in the original mounting bracket and relocate the screw holes in the sign.
