additives for front axle leak

I have a jd4700 4wd. There is a slight leak in the front axle. Are there any additives that are safe to add to the front end to help stop/slow down the leak until I have time to get it fixed?

I had a leak that would be 8" wide overnight on the floor. I was told to replace the front end oil with Lucas Hub oil that has a stop leak in it. I did that and ran it for a couple hours moving snow. Next day the leak was 2" on the floor. Next time I did a little back blade work for an hour or so and the next day the leak was gone. That was 60 days ago. I am now a Lucas hub Oil fan. :thumbsup:
