Advertiser to sell on TBN?

Ok, I will just remind you that KennyD has over 10,000 posts, and he is usually one of the first to reply with a solution to any problem you may encounter. I know Kenny gets a lot of plugs for his grab hooks, but they rarely if ever come from him. I know I have plugged his hooks because frankly they are a great product that fits a very specific need that I and great number of us are looking for. I have met Kenny personal several times and I will say he is great guy who will do just about anything to help someone out.

As for Chris, I have also plugged his product because again it is a great product. I haven't paid as much attention to whether Chris plugs his own product but I know a lot of happy customer do it for him too.

I have no affiliation beyond being a satisfied customer with either of these gentlemen.

But either way, it's like this. Members are here for the main purpose of learning things form other members not to read advertisements from big companies. If it were not for the members the big companies would not be here at all. Ok sure some will say that the forum would not exist without the big companies that pay money to those that own the forum. The companies do make money from the forum advertisements and so do the owners of the forum that are paid by the companies, the members are the pawns by which the companies and forum owners make money. The more members the more it attracts big companies. Its all simple business and make no mistake about it, it is big business. It's also give and take. Owners of forums should be a little more considerate of the real bread winners of a forum, The MEMBERS. There will always be another forum after this one, the question is when will this one die.

LOL! OOPs. Now your post makes sense. I did not mean that at all. I just picked the number two out of thin air to represent a low number. Guess I blew that. Believe me, we are on the same page. Thanks for your post as I must now assume others had read my post the same way you did.

I thought you had to 'pay' to be an advertiser on here so you could sell items?

I know some members have 'advertiser' under their names and I'm sure they paid so they could sell on here.

But I know a member that 'doesn't' have advertiser under his name and he is selling things on here.- That don't seem fair to the others that paid.

There is most certainly one definitive thing that should be derived from this thread. Unless it is an necessity or an emergency, it would be ill advised to send a Private Message - PM - to the OP. The chances are fairly high that your PM will most definitely be posted on TBN and revealed to everyone. This type of behavior has already been displayed, and I, personally haven't seen any indication by the negative and augmentative demeanor shown by the OP, that the future will hold any promise. It truly seems that the mindset of the OP will never be swayed, no matter how much info or examples are disclosed to him. But, that is his right. Living and existing in a void and being unable to disseminate the difference in regards to facts and examples, is his basic right and we all should be tolerant to the indifference.

Personally, if I had a question about someone's 'advertising' here on TBN being legit, I would PM Muhammad directly.

I don't read every post on TBN, reckon I missed that one.

One thing I do know...KennyD has contributed a lot to TBN and it's members over the years. Maybe the owners/mods cut him some slack because of that, maybe not...I really don't know.
What I do know is you've posted what....165 posts? What have you contributed? This thread?
IF you had a problem with what you call "unauthorized advertising", all you had to do was hit that little triangle to report a "problematic post" and the Mods would have determined if it was, in fact, a problem.
So, Low Bucket...what is your problem? Did you try to advertise something and get a post or thread deleted?

BTW, I don't know KennyD, other then TBN (and Deere Talk on rare occasions)...never met the man.

^^^ Agreed! Kenny has been one (if not the most) helpfull contributor to many of us here on TBN - expecially when it comes to hydraulics. What a friend to have when you need some help on a hydaulic issue!! You dont have to search long before seeing how helpful Ken has been to so many.

He has done little to promote his fine product here on TBN. I have this hunch that the OP is stirring the pot for his buddy (or himself?....a cometitive hook maker?) or something of that nature. I cannot see where Kenny has willfully violated the policy of this site.

We have waaay too few folks with the integety, knowledge and common sense of guys like KennyD hanging around here on TBN. I think low bucket outta give it a rest.....and perhaps an appology would be nice!
