Yeah. Much of it is very nice. But unloaded R4 tires, nothing on the back, only a loader. It isn't that great for snow removal at the moment. Need to borrow a heavy rear blade.

But boy is HST really nice for loader work. And with power steering I don't feeling like I have been to the gym after using the tractor for a couple hours. I am going to get flabby.

I have rim guard in my tires and two sets of rear weights and it's still not enough even with my 800lb skidding winch on the back.

Got my mx5100 a year ago, I love this tractor. I got the gear drive with shuttle shift because of our hilly terrain, fwd and the qa fel. I also bought an EA 72 " grapple, that is just an amazing add on for these tractors. The mx is a beast in itself, and just plain fun to work with.

Ok, I bought the new mx5100hst. Nice so far. Going to the auction with the m7040 soon and I hope it doesn't go dirt cheap. ;-)

Now I am looking for implements.

That's exactly what I was thinking, have them both and figure out which one you like best and then sell the other.

I have sold quite a few of the mx5100 to local farmers and home owners, and these are a great machine. The m7040 may be over doing it.
This machine should fit your needs
