I went through a very similar process on my '64 4000 Select O Speed. I would work on getting it to a shed.
This list of things I did/checked

Engine isnt seized
Engine oil is free of water
Clean/decent looking coolant in radiator
Pulled plugs and added some tranny fluid for lubrication
Pulled the carburetor and ordered a rebuild kit, cleaning all orifices, passageways, replacing jets, etc etc was crucial
Cleaned and refurbed the fuel sediment trap
Rigged up a bypass gas tank
gapped the points
Did all the initial work on getting it up and running by hot-wiring to ignition coil and starter, bypassed the starter button etc.

Once I got it up and running, then I went to work on replacing, fluids, belts, hoses, referring the gas tank, and replacing the starter solenoid and ignition switch and Push to start button. Did all of this with a 12v battery still use it to this day with no ill effects? Just use it for food plot work and a little bit brush hogging.

I would pull the plugs before starting and add some Marvel Mystery oil,.... rather than transmission fluid.
Then turn it over a few times before putting the plugs back in.

Just got it into the shed today, might be a dumb question as I don’t have much experience working on cars/tractors, but how do I check if the engine is seized? Also where can I get a carb rebuild kit and how much do they run? And what do you mean by gapped the points?

In the past few days I took the snow bucket off, drained the oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, and rear differential fluid. I went with what was in the original manual and filled the transmission with 5quarts SAE20, the hydraulics with 8quarts of a general purpose hydraulic fluid (couldn’t find type A hyd. fluid), and the rear differential with 8quarts SAE90. I also got new gaskets for the transmission & crankcase drain plugs. In the next few days I plan on getting the loader arm off and changing the oil/oil cartridge and also taking a look at the air cleaner. I also have coolant that’s just waiting to be put in. I need to order a new ignition because I can’t find the key (I heard you can bypass the key but it’s something I would like to have). I have new gas ready to put in but I’m not sure if there’s something I should do to the tank first before pouring new gas in? There’s currently nothing in there as it must have evaporated over the years. I have a new battery on the bench but that will be probably the last thing I install before trying to fire the tractor up. The tires aren’t in the best shape and I was wondering if putting tubes in them would make them last a while before I can afford new tires (also need new rims). If you actually read down to here and think of anything else I should do (that I haven’t already mentioned) before attempting to start the tractor up, I welcome your suggestions. Also, thank you to everyone who gave suggestions up to this point, I have read them all and appreciate your insight.

Assuming you do plan to keep the tractor, this might be the time to invest in a Petroxix electronic ignition ($117.19 @ Yesterdays Tractor)
The Petronix electronic ignition is a modern upgrade that will avoid any and all ignition point problems.
The install directions are very easy to follow.

Need to get a wrench the crankshaft pulley nut and see if it will turn, might wanna pull the plugs before you do that so that your not fighting compression in the cylinders.

Pull the plugs, put some squirts of Marvel Mystery oil (or transmission fluid) in each plug hole, and then turn over with a wrench, with the plugs still out.

You can get just about anything you will need from this website https://www.steinertractor.com

Once you get the carburetor off and get to cleaning it you should be able to see the model on the body of the carb if it is a a Marvel Schebler carb. Lots of videos on the web on rebuilding tractor carbs.

File the points, dump a quart of gas in the tank, throw a chain around the bucket and drag that sucker down the road in high gear. That's how I started my neighbors. and yes they are 6-v pos ground. neighbors is a 53 golden jube.

Lots of good advice... I have brought many a old Ford Model A back to life...

If the engine spins it isn't frozen.

If I am serious one of the first things I do after addressing fluids is do a compression check...
