2012 John Deere 2720
I just bought a new (to me) house on 12 acres with about 2-3 acres of lawn, 2-3 acres of brush/field and 1,000' of driveway. I'm on the side of a mountain in an area that gets quite a bit of snow. I am considering at JD 2720 with MMM, FEL, Front mounted snow blower and a flail mower. This will be my first tractor and I am concerned that it might not be enough for the flail and might be too much for the mmm. Anyone have experience and if so, reccomendations. Thanks.

If the implements are spec'ed for 30HP it should be OK. I.e. don't get a Rhino 8' flail.
But do try and get a cab.

Why do you need a flail mower? You say you want a MMM, which would be your finish mowing, and as far as brush hogging, a true brush hog is better than a flail and consume less power (and cheaper).

A 2720 is a nice sized machine though. If you could give us a little more detail on the amount of work needed to be done, how often you plan to mow the field any livestock, etc, it might make a size recommendation easier for us:thumbsup:

Already sounds like you need a 3000 series to me.
