I am very sorry for not keeping everyone updated on this, I even ended up getting a lawyer but without anything in writing nothing could be done. It ended up costing me $ 3300.00. I called out of the blue on a Friday after not hearing anything for almost 2 months. The service person told me they had just finished it (imagine that). He said the reason it took so long was they had to tear it back apart to fix the 4 wheel drive. I assure you there was nothing wrong with the 4 wheel drive. When I picked it up I went over the bill they gave me for parts, and they were Kioti parts according to my parts manual, just not all the parts for what they say they did. I went over to the parts department to ask about the parts with odd part numbers and started talking to the parts manager, I made mention of how I felt I was being ripped off, he said "I think you got a **** of a deal, the original bill was $9000.00". All I can say for this whole experience is I made several calls to Kioti ,never received a return call, this dealership sucks and I would never go back there again, and I'm sorry I bought a new Kioti. Live and learn I guess.

I fail to understand why you bought a new Kioti, what model, BTW? When you had not resolved the broken tractor before doing so? Is the new tractor doing well by you?
Now that the broken tractor is 'fixed', hopefully, what are you going to do with it?
What exactly was the supposed problem that is now fixed?

That's why I bought a green one. The dealer is very successful. The same owners have 4 dealerships within 20 or so miles of me. The mechanics drive new vehicles. I can order service parts and they ship them directly to my house, they suggested the tractor model for me that their expertise recommended, and they say hello when I stop in to get a hot dog. They also service and supply parts for Kuhn and Stihl stuff. Guess where I shop and how well I sleep when tts hay season ? When I need a tractor, its TODAY and even sometimes THIS morning, not when a dealer can get around to fixing problems with their mechanics or their accountants or their supply chain.

Are you talking about D&G?

I still call BS. There's a lot of holes in this story. Not hearing anything for 2 months? Who's fault is that? The list of questions/comments is way too long for me to type. This story started out fishy and it hasn't changed. Can you post some pics of the tractor and maybe the invoice? Just black out the necessary info.

I bought my a new CK 30 tractor before getting my old one fixed. I went to the dealership and they would not take my broken tractor in on trade (which is understandable) so I bought my new one and dropped off my old one. I am happy with my new tractor, actually not as much as my old one. I am not saying Kioti does not make a good unit, but in my case and in my area there is a company (not naming names but would love to) that just added Kioti to the line of other tractors they sell. So they are not willing to take care of loyal Kioti customers the way a dealer that just sells kioti would. I talked to several strictly Kioti dealers and they were very helpful. I only wish I would have taken my unit to one of these dealers instead. To answer the other question it was a $30.00 little coupler that was on my input shaft.

The biggest problem I have now is I am a little afraid to sell this unit in case it fails again. The dealership clearly stated the guy did not know what he was doing in fixing this unit, that was the biggest reason for the $3300.00 bill. They also said if I sell the unit the (30 day warrenty) did not transfer.

That's too bad the way it turned out for you. A good tractor mechanic is worth the money but it sounds like you may have got a bad one. Consider getting some actual customer references before the next mechanic touches your equipment. Live and learn my friend... hope you have better luck with service on the new one.

Selling the fixed tractor should not be a problem, IF it is indeed fixed. You can give the new owner the paperwork from the repair as proof of the fix. Whether or not the 30 day, virtually useless warranty can be passed on to the next owner is, IMHO, largely irrelevant to your decision to off the tractor to a new owner.

Maybe you could show some proof of life to silence the naysayers plaguing this thread. Once done, everyone can move on to the progress of the thread, wherever it may lead.

I would Flog it well for a couple of days if it holds up well then I wouldn't have a problem selling it.
