The hydraulic requirements is what I was worried about. Thank you!

NO, NO and NO! A SS hydraulic attachment, designed for a skid steer won’t even come close to working with a CUT. Totally different flow rates. Think of a skid steer as a giant hydraulic pump with some do dads attached to it.

I like the looks of that product, but I want it on a plow!! There isn't enough directional ability on the bucket for me, I have a handful of twists that I need to do and I want some more maneuverability than a bucket gives, I've used buckets before (without the edge tamer) on frozen ground and it just doesn't do it for me. I've considered snow pushes which would be similar but again, same issues with curves and such, maybe I'm wrong though?

I have seen a handful of plows that come with adjustable shoes, I'm not sure though, I am repricing the tractor without snow implements just the spools and 3rd function (non-oem so can curl bucket while using) so I can take some more time and try to figure out my solution.

I’m not saying it can’t be done- only the “stock” design will put too much weight on the shoes if the ground isn’t rock hard. This will result in digging and frustration.

I understand don't worry! I won't be buying some nice used SS equipment and trying to make it run

So the shoes themselves will dig in? I've plowed ONLY gravel and dirt my whole plowing life (only like 4-5 years ) so I guess I understand the concept of the thaw, but shoes still usually are enough. I've never done it with a plow on a FEL though, but I'm surprised the pressure is that much different. How much are your tenders? Could be a good solution for the crap days in the begining and end of the seasons.

The skid steer quick release is close enough for me!

How about the hydraulically actuated SSQA?
Great on my Kubota L48.
Never need to leave the seat to change attachments!

I love the "Edge Tamers" on my bucket.
I think they could be modified to work for your plow.

If you're looking for a good snowblower at a great price then check out WoodMaxx.com. They were among the best built when I was looking. Mine has hydraulic rotation and a hydraulic deflector but they also offer electric if you don't have the extra hydraulic remotes on the tractor.

I also have an 8' plow that I built the mount for:

I'm getting some rear spools so I can run hydraulics for a blower. I will check those ones out.

I have been through your plow thread and was very impressed. I can't weld though (no equipment and never tried) and am trying to figure out a way to get a set up like yours or even mounted to the tractor frame if I took off the loader. Any suggestions on where a guy like me who can't build their own might get lucky? My neighbor is a welder but I just moved in and don't really know him, he would probably do something for me if I paid I would think though.
