My history with tractor tires and Texas mesquite thorn punctures is well documented by my wife last year.
All tires punctured over a two month period. And the primary treatment for each tire was sealant fluid within the tires. I have flat terrain and no need for loading tires with Rim Guard. My neighbor has R1 tires and same issue. Almost all these mesquite thorns, up to 3" in length penetrate the sidewalls. All tires are vulnerable, except the typical front solid tires on ZeroTurns. I even put sealant in my ZT tires.
