Agrotk excavators: Does anyone have one? Opinions/comments/critiques?

This one has the XR 250000 motor in it not the 210000. The spark plug has the B & S logo on it so who knows what it is.

Well, it looks like B&S has changed the name of the XR2100 420cc single-cyl engine to XR 13.5, at least in the US. The model name is 25T2. They also offer a 14hp Vanguard 408cc single cyl engine, called Vanguard 400 (model name, 25V3). Dunno what they make and ship in other parts of the world, tho engine factories exist in China and other places. You should find the model name on the maker plate. Does is say 25T2?

Neither engine is a Honda clone, tho some clone parts, like carbs may fit. The Honda clones in the US now go all the way up to 500ccs, tho factories in China have yet to clone the top-of-line EFI Honda single cyl engines, as I have found anyway. The engine I put in my mini-X is a 420cc Chonda from Duromax (China), and is rated 16hp. It has worked flawlessly.

Honda, Kohler, Briggs, and Chonda are the 4 1-cyl choices for EPA- and CARB-legal engines in the US. Kohler seems to use the most robust internal engine parts that I have seen of these brands. Both Honda and Kohler are very expensive, and have thumpers with EFI, up to 390cc and 429cc, respectively. B&S has an EFI thumper with 408cc. If EFI was not so expensive, I would have one.

I dont know a great lot about these new models, so my info is probably wrong! I do know it has the sheet with it saying 250000 13.5 motor. cant see in there very good but will try looking with a mirror and try to find numbers or tags.
I did get the head cleaned up and ground the valves in it today. Runs now but carb is gummed up with that crap,---got it clean enough to pull the bucket good so maybe it will self clean a bit more. Digs great for now ---light even works, also the fan on the oil cooler runs.

Just for reference. The B&S engine that came on my excavator has printed on the pull start/flywheel cover 13.5hp. The engine manual that I got is for 190000, 250000 model with a copyright date of 2022. Nowhere do I see any XR designation though in the sales listing when I bought it was mentioned as coming with the XR2100 engine.

The manual does list a 2 year warranty but reduced to 1 year if commercial use for non XR or Vanguard. If it is a XR series than 2 years without limitation. Vanguard is 3 years.

I see a couple of these small ex's listed for sale in Middle Tennessee at dealers where they've dropped the asking prices. There were asking around $9,500 and now they seem to be around $7,000 or thereabouts, although I haven't looked closely at the model number or specs to see if there's something else going on. Seasonal selling? Economy softening?

Market in US has been flooded. Last Sat, the local monthly auction had 65 unused Chinese excavators listed, almost all of them 1-ton-ish. Previous month was 52 of them. Saturation has pushed final bids down to as low as $3000. Out-the-door, under $4K. The handful of 3-4.5T units may get as high as $15K, with cabs.

I think the auction companies are bringing in their own full containers, but they are losing money at $3K final bid.

Would be interesting if someone that has bought one at that reported low Auction price makes a post. I distrust these firms to sell at less than their cost plus profit. What I suspect instead is they simply shuffle the equipment to the next Auction when the bids do not reach the minimum level they have set.

The company I referred to above does exactly that for some of its items. Hidden or secret reserve. RBAuctions, which I am naming, does not do that as far as I can tell or have heard.

I do not know if there are hidden reserves for these excavators. The Diggit EM15 I referred to above was bought at that auction and had no reserve, or the final bid of $5200 was above it. That is very cheap, and may be below cost.

I also noticed an agrotek LRT23 ride on mini skid steer marked down to $7,700 at a local tractor dealer. The L12 ex was priced at $5,960.

Looking over on the Agrotk industrial site I do see a 1-ton (730kg actual) listed for $4900 with free shipping it is the QS12R. By the pictures of it though it really looks like they cut every possible corner in construction.

ETA: BTW I noticed they actually have a spec sheet on the hydraulic for this model. The 18Mpa is ~2600psi and the flow of 23.4L/min is ~6gpm

I Did last month. A QH12 And a SL380 Mini Skid Steer. Long way away from Home, but that is not the Auction's Fault.

The last Sale, last week, prices held pretty much at what I paid for the Hoe, the Skid prices dropped $500 from what I paid.

But those Auction Prices are legit, Price Shown, + 5% Fee + Tax, they load you.
