BUT NOT SURE THE TYPE OF AIR FILTER,AND ARE THEY AVAILABLE HERE IN AUSTRALIA. HOPE TO HAVE MORE TIME TO USE THE COMPUTER>

can't really help but u might want to put out a search for NJRGS, also known as NEIL FROM OZ he lives in i think it is queensland? and he might have some info on this topic.

I believe the L1500DT is the same as the L185DT series here from a past post I read.

The filters should be available there too.
