Actually, the characteristics of the three point are not at issue here. My questions about it were aimed primarily on determining if the lift system needs to be involved in the return plumbing from the backhoe. I think you now have a handle on how to properly get oil flow TO the backhoe, but what to do with the flow FROM the backhoe?
When the backhoe is installed, and even when the hoe is in use, does the lift system need to be functional? With some tractors and hoe combinations, the unit mounts on the lift arms. Some are totally separate, and the lift is not involved. All sorts of combinations in that regard. If the lift is out of the picture, then the backhoe return can be directed straight to sump may simplify things. If you need the lift working, then the return from the hoe should also be a power beyond type package because the lift is a downstream valve in that case. Depending on the valve type used on the hoe, that may not be easy to do.
