Air ride seat: Worth it or not?

Nope. All I got for my money was the black bellows part. They used the OE cloth seat that came with my 3720 cab. That said, the $1200 I cited included labor, and JD labor rates are ridiculous. For example, I had a MFWD sensor replaced out of warranty. The bill was nearly $500; $85 for the part, the rest was labor.

Is air ride seats worth it? You bet. It's the single most important option I put in my tractor. My Kubota's OEM seat would bottom out on a rough road and it hurt. It took some research and spent some $1100. Along with some modifying but I hate to get out of the cab now.
If you can get an air ride seat for your JD then go for it. Your back will thank you for it.

Ask your back in a few years. It will tell you. Install it yourself if you want to save money, but by all means get it if you think you need it

I've thinking of this addition for the 6415. I was looking at just the air ride suspension base at K&M Manufacturing, list price is $699

It may make no difference to you, but that $699 seat could be a Chinese clone. A call to K&M regarding country of origin might provide some peace of mind.

I've had both and think the air ride is definitely worth it!
I had a 4310 that had the air seat. I bought the tractor used so I'm not sure if the seat was added later or if they were available for the tractor new but it was the JD seat.

As far as the 3320 seat on your tractor,
When I traded my 4310 for a 3520 I swapped the spring seat it had for my air seat and it was a direct fit. 4 bolts and the safety switch wire if I remember correctly. Bolted right up.

My 4310 was a late one and my 3520 is an older one so there was only a few years difference between them. I don't know it there have been changes in the seat mounting for the 3X20's since then though.
