Well I'll be! How are ya, Billy? It truly is a small world isn't it?
After grad school (before completing MS /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif), I took a job in Huntsville with a defense contractor where I stayed for 4 years. Then, got a job with a timber/paper company in T-town and was there for 7 years. When I moved back, I finished up my MS (had to take 6 credit hours that I had let expire and write two research papers... all while working full-time /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif). They recently sold the papermill in Demopolis and all of the assests related to it. Laid a bunch of us off. I started 8/1 as a programmer with a steel manufacturer in T-town. Not doing GIS work anymore, but I'm enjoying it nontheless. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I often think of you. Anytime I go through Forestdale by that shopping center parking lot where we met up that morning to go look at the hemlock trees. And, anytime I hear about Village Creek flooding (pretty often) on the news, I think about our little hike/adventure out there.
I've only got ~6 hours on my new Mahindra 2615 4WD. But, from my experience so far, I can definitely recommend this tractor if it is sized right for your uses.
I'm getting old, and my memory isn't what it used to be. Were you in the Geography program at UA my first time through ('93-'94) or my second time through ('98)?
Later,
BR
