In all seriousness, for the hundreds and hundreds of years yahoos have been out poaching things, one of these would have been shot by now. Or, just as likely, hit by a car.

And for that matter, UFOs too.
Why in 100 years of sightings, hasnt ONE been shot down, crashed or landed?

This is a good example of why fake news is and always has been a thing. People believe what they want to believe, facts and data are irrelevant. Some want to believe the world is flat, some want to believe 5G causes Covid, and some want to believe in Bigfoot. And there are many more examples I could list that would quickly get this thread locked. As the famous saying goes, just think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Hmmm, I question if sasquatch is real. But in fairness I have never seen a COVID but I believe it exists because someone has a picture of it.

Don't get me started on why I wont get the jab yet but COVID is real. Here's your photo, there are many many many others.

I have a friend that is very successful interior decorator that believes in bigfoot. She is part of a group of bigfoot hunters that's been on TV a few times. Just about every weekend, they get together somewhere to look for bigfoot. Mostly it's a big party out in the woods with a lot of grilling, drinking and sleeping in tents. It does look like they have a great time, but when you talk to her about it, she has one story after another that she believes proves that bigfoot exists, and they are all over the place. Nothing real, just repeating what somebody said they saw, or a fuzzy picture, or hair that science can't identify type of proof. It's fun to hear her stories, but it's also kind of like hearing about contrails, 5G and who shot Kennedy. You have to truly believe and never question any of it.
