That's good. I didn't recognize the models they had, but I haven't shopped KK for awhile. I'll have to take another look at them - Thanks.

KK could be making a cheaper line to be marketed under the RK label.
This happens throughout the manufacturing industry.
Example : JD riders sold at big box stores are not the same (quality) as JD riders sold by JD dealers, even though they may appear to be the same.

Incorrect. Barring any issues caused by improper setup, the riders with the same model number are the same no matter where they were purchased.

I suspect you are right but what I have seen in all types of products it they often don't sell the exact same model numbers to make sure you can not compare apples to apples. I have not checked tractors but with other products the model might have several digits and most of them are the same but at least one will be off. EG TVs might be like ss54aaa640b at one store and amazon might sell ss54aaa650b and they appear to the untrained or knowledgeable eye (like mine) they seem the same. That difference could be negligable or significant.

Deere has said that a E100 (random model number) at Lowes will be the same as a E100 at a Deere dealer.
Now, a dealer might choose to not carry the E100, but if they choose to carry it, it will be the same.

If something happens to the E100 sold by Lowe's, the between a rock and hard place comes into play. The local John Deere Dealer will have to provide warranty service. We all know how that will go.

I had a lawn/garden deere dealer tell me, they don't mind dealing with Lowe's deere's one bit.

He said, those same people come back for parts and service, and that's where they make their money.

Makes sense, they can go through Lowes and wait 3 weeks for them to look at it, or go to the dealer and get it back in a week...

A good friend of mine works at JD dealership and was a tech guy for years. He told me that they used to send him to Lowe’s and Home Depot to do all of the set up on their JD mowers.

In store today, I see a sign on the generic Glyphosate display that they cannot honor the advertised price due to the 'rapidly rising' cost to them and the new/current price is $2 higher per gallon.

What's up with that? Costs of the lawsuits?
