Maybe for new stuff - but for stuff already produced, shipped to wholesaler, sold to retailer and put on the shelf? After already printing an advertisement?

Kinda like gasoline prices. The stuff in the ground tank was purchased in the past, yet they raise the price on it as soon as oil goes up.

That is true. Gas is a commodity. I’ve never thought of weed killer as a commodity.

I guess furniture stores are raising prices every day to cover the increase in lumber.

Then you still have to wait three months after you order a couch.

Stopped in today. I go there for bird seed, suet and some of their snack stuff. Today I wandered down to the weed killer stuff and found 41% Glyph for $54 for 2 1/2 gallons. Grabbed one.

Meanwhile some guy was scouring the shelves looking for something. Few minutes later, I over heard him asking of the clerks for surfactant. She had no idea what he was asking for. Grabbed her phone thing and typed it in to find out of they had any.

If you're working in a store like that, it seems like you'd have some idea of what things are that people use for rural stuff.

I have Rural King and TSC both 10 mins away from home and both located almost next to each other. I always price shop them both because they have different deals. Rural King is my favorite though because they have a really nice gun department and great prices.

Just found out we have a RK near us about 45 mins away. Chicken feed prices are about $4 a bag so gotta buy at least 2 to "break even" for that distance. Not a problem though... :) . Found several things there I didn't know I needed... Bought some baking potato seed taters, I planted last Sat.

To me it was about like TSC, Agrisupply had a baby AND started selling guns. I plan to make bi monthly trips for at least the chicken feed alone.

I also saw the glysophate at $54. Good price but I well stocked for this year.

Saw the tractors in the parking lot but I am "ok" on mine for now.

I wondered about their demographics team, seems they follow TSC stores around. I wish they'd follow them a little closer my way.

Rural King and Tractor Supply are in the same business sector, but very different companies. Tractor is very large and public owned (you can buy the stock). Rural King is smaller and privately owned, I think by the descendants of the original founders. RK is expanding but doesn't seem nearly as focused on growth as TSC.

No RK stores close to here but I have bought firearms from them and have them shipped to my local FFL. I also buy from Palmetto (firearms), just ordered a 50 AE Desert Eagle from them. I like big bore handguns and DE's are very hard to get around here.

One thing I'd never buy from RK even if they had a store here is one of their tractors. They have the same issue that Cabelas had selling tractors, no service department.
